Investment

Small Hydro Power Plant – Bistrica, as our capital investment with installed capacity larger than all of our other operating plants on Bistrica river combined, was our second project in the catchment of Bistrica river, and our team started construction of this plant in June of 2014. Considering the fact that construction started later than expected, we signed contract for execution of construction works with Bemax from Podgorica as only company that can execute this demanding type of the project in less than six months. Hydromechanical equipment was ordered from reputable Austrian company in production of turbines Koessler GMBH as our partner on the projects sHPP Rmus and sHPP Spalevici that were constructed in the same period. GRP materials for penstock construction were purchased from Turkish company Subor Boru as our partner on all of our active and future projects. Middle voltage facility and control system were purchased from Sintaksa Split, company that proved that can provide us with highest quality and most advanced equipment that placed this company as our supplier on all of our sHPPs.

After construction of sHPP Bistrica and installation of the equipment necessary for safe operation of our largest and capital project, this plant became operational in January 2015. Authorization of PPA for sHPP Bistrica represents realization of our main and largest project that represents more than 50% of our active capacities on Bistrica river. After realization of our future project sHPP Kaludra, sHPP Bistrica will remain our largest facility that represents cca 35% of our annual power generation.

Small Hydro Power Plant – Bistrica is our capital investment with installed capacity larger than all of our other operating plants combined.
