Small Hydro Power Plant – Jezerstica, as first newly built power generating facility after 30 years in Montenegro, represents first investment of our company. After collection of all necessary documents for hydro potential valorization of river Jezerstica, Hidroenergija Montenegro started construction of this plant in June 2012. For main contractor in execution of construction works, Hidroenergija Montenegro decided that the best decision is to choose Bemax from Podgorica, as largest construction company in Montenegro. Hydromechanical equipment was ordered from Geppert GMBH as one of the most reputable Austrian companies in area of turbine production, and GRP materials for penstock construction were purchased from Turkish company Subor that is licenced to use Norwegian „know-how“ in production process of GRP pipes. Middle voltage facility and control system was purchased from Sintaksa Split, company specialized in area of production and installation of this type of equipment procured by most experienced companies in this area (Siemens, Schnider electric etc.).

After construction of sHPP Jezerstica and installation of the above mentioned equipment, this plant became operational in February 2013. Considering this plant as our first project that operates almost seven years, we can say that this facility is reliable energy source that provides safe production in all conditions.
